Home Alone

This is the first time I've been alone in our room. First time I've been alone in days. What to do... hmm... ooh, I can sit on the couch and contemplate life or a... ya know, play games on my computer... I have an hour and a half until I have to leave for my first class. I can practice standing on my head... or I can do my makeup all funny, he he. Or not. I can play with the funky laptop mice. Whee... that was fun. I can sit here and type up stuff I can do. Ooh, it suddenly got all dark. Mr. Sun went behind Mr. Cloud. Someone's makin' noise in the hall. Now it's quiet... too quiet... think the aliens have landed and abducted everyone? I better look out the window to make sure. Nope, nope, still there. Drats.

Class Was... Well...

Kind borring. They're using this new thing where we can view the lectures online so we don't really have to go to class, so in other words, no one will except me and 3 other people, but whatever. He didn't say anything about exams or homework or even a class page which was weird. Way too excited about his new little toy.
The lecture was about binary and binary addition, one's compliment, two's, yada yada. All this stuff that I learned in HS. Course in HS we learned it in a three month period, not in one lecture. I feel way bad for the kids who never learned binary cause they were like, what the frell are you talking about??? Base wha??? Sucks to be them.
I also noticed the people in this class. Now, for there only being two non full classes, and ours being the bigger one... da... there weren't a whole lotta people, lol. Though this is more of a Spring class than Fall I guess, but still. Least we all passed 112, that's gotta say somethin', right? No stupid people... darn. I like the stupid people, they make nice curve.

I'm Lazy

I was trying to get my chocolate sticks out before without leaving my seat and I couldn't reach. I had to tip my chair a bit. And Rachelle says, "you think you have problems? Look where the remote is!" A whole 5 feet away. *gasp* We laughed. But seriously, it's a pain to have to get up and then go and sit down again and it's just something I'm not willing to do. This laziness effects almost everyone. I was on the bus earlier and rather than getting out and walking an extra 10 feet, about 15 people chose to wait on the bus for a good ten minutes so they could get off that much closer to the stop. Is it really worth it? Then again, I was even worse waiting yet another ten to go around College Ave instead of getting off at the first stop and walking which would have taken me about 2 minutes. On the other hand, I would have been 38 minutes early for class instead of 30. Someone else on the bus even said they were taking the bus out of pure laziness. Three minutes later they left and walked back inside the student center. I don't know why. Anyway, my point is, we're a lazy bunch. But hey, I've been running around like a crazy person all day going from one class to the next, aren't I entitled to some laziness?

Bulky Items

Nutin' to do tonight except the laundry. I washed my new quilt. My friends and I were supposed to get together, but Rachelle's gone missing again. So now I'm just hangin' with the dogs listening to the tunes of Wicked.
Princess smells a little funny. I dunno what she was rollin' in, but whatever it was, er, it smells bad. She's going to the groomers next weekend though so hopefully whatever that smell is, it uh, ah! Spider! *grabs suntan lotion and hits him* ooh, he fell, dang. Now there's a half dead spider on the floor behind the desk. Ew.

I'm Only Friendly When It Rains

It's weird how much friendlier people are when it rains. It's like we all have this common bond because we're soaking wet. People will get off the bus and be like, hey, hi everyone, I'm wet! People passing by will go, oh look at you, you're all wet too! At the bus stop, people actually chat. They ask what buses have come and comment on umbrellas. It's strange.
